I don't even know where to begin. I know everyone is having a hard time. I keep hoping and praying things will get better for my family, but it just seems to be getting worse. I am a hard working person (56 years old). I work everyday, and try to pay my bills. But since my husband (61 years old) has not worked in a year, it has been very hard on me. I have managed to make it somehow. We will start getting his social security in November, but that is still a far cry away. I am struggling so bad. I had to get an organization, and 2 churches to help me pay most of my light bill last month. The only way I have been making it is to get pay day loans, which are not good. They are a trap! The other night coming home, our truck, which is our only vehicle broke down. Our fuel pump went out, totally unexpected. I did not have the money to get the work done, fortunatly the automotive place worked a partial payment plan with me, but that took my house payment. I am 3 house payments behind, 2 light bills due, 2 payday loans out, and I can not pay the taxes on my home. I have prayed and prayed, I am so worried. My husband is sick (trying to get him into a clinic), and my son is sick (trying to get him into a free clinic). I am not one to ask other people for help, because I know how people are. They are very cruel sometimes, and not caring. But you see I do work, and try to take care of my family. When my husband draws his social security, it won't be much, but it will certainly help me. Until then, I need to see if anyone might be able to help me out of my bind. And I am more than willing, to do a payback loan. I am trying to find a second part-time job working on Saturdays, but have not been successful so far.
